An immersive exhibition and installation stemming from a year-long residency with the conservation organization Openlands debuts this October. During that time I established a team called Open Land Art and Fact Team or “O.L.A.F.T.”. Our pseudo-science effort regards the human impact on preserved parcels of land as an illustration of the “Anthropocene”- an era we are currently participating in.
Walk the Line
Walk the Line – Pipelines carrying Tar Sands oil—the dirtiest form of oil there is—are running through our neighborhoods in Northwest Indiana. Join us on Sept. 30, 2017 as we walk along the path of the tar sands pipelines that pass through our communities to help support a just transition to a renewable energy economy.When: Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. (arrive by 8:00 a.m.)Where: The route is 10K (or 6.21 miles). For the first time ever, the Coalition to Ban Petcoke is having a fundraiser. It will be on March 3rd at 7 pm, at the Patagonia Mag Mile store in downtown Chicago.
We received generous donations from local artists, breweries and restaurants and it will surely be a fun night. There will be good music, a panel discussion, a short movie and a special surprise performance.

Environmental Graphiti: Events and Exhibits
Environmental Graphiti is a venture that uses contemporary art as a vehicle to enhance public awareness about the science of climate change. Each of the pieces in the series of 50+ digital paintings is based on a chart, graph, word or number representing a key fact about climate change.
